Karthago - Second Step (Germany/1973)

 Joey Albrecht plays in the groups Rivals and Blues Machine. In 1970[1], Karthago was founded with , Thomas Goldschmidt and Wolfgang Brock.

In 1973, Brock was replaced by Norbert "Panza" Lehmann and the second album was recorded. “Panza” moved to Epitaph the following year, his successor was Konstantin Bommarius. Bassist Gerald Hartwig gradually retired and was replaced by Glenn Cornick (ex Jethro Tull). In 1975, Hartwig replaced Cornick again and bishop moved to Kraan. After that, Carthage toured in changing casts. In 1978, they eventually disbanded.

The band was active again in 2003.[2]
